Volunteer

Lawrence Hall Youth Services welcomes enthusiastic volunteers. LHYS would not exist without the help of hundreds of volunteers each year, completing thousands of volunteer hours. Volunteers are the backbone of our existence and are one thing of which we can never have too many. No matter what your interests or experience, we have an ideal spot for you. No prior experience is necessary. Your donation of time will help us improve the quality of life for the nearly 1,000 children, adolescents and their families that we serve each year. You can make a difference.

Volunteer Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Complete a Volunteer Application (pdf).
Schedule an appointment with our Director of Community Relations.
Attend required training (provided free of charge by LHYS).

Volunteer Opportunities include:

Clerical work
Corporate Volunteer Day
Yard work or landscaping
Tutoring
Fundraising activities and special events
Auxiliaries membership
North Shore Auxiliary
Junior Board
