Become a Treatment Family Foster Home Parent

March 10, 2022

You can be short on space but big on impact

Lawrence Hall is seeking dedicated, loving parents to nurture children in our agency-owned Treatment Family Foster Home (TFFH). Living here is completely free of rent or utility bills, so you can be dedicated to being the nurturer of children in need of stability and a positive image of family life.

What does being a TFFH Foster Parent entail?

Lawrence Hall’s TFFH Foster Parents are incredibly special people who understand the amount of love, patience, and support needed to address the unique needs of our children. TFFH Foster Parents reside in an agency-owned home and provide loving care and support for up to four youth between the ages of 10 to 15.

By being a TFFH Foster Parent, you give these young lives the opportunity to find hope, healing, and support.

Who can be a TFFH Foster Parent?

TFFH Foster Parents typically have two years of specialized foster parenting experience and maintain full-time residence in our single-family house in the beautiful Albany Park neighborhood. While both single and married foster parents are welcome, at least one parent must always be home as an integral member of the children’s treatment team.

We provide:

• Foster parent training and support
• Respite services
• Mentoring
• After-hours crisis support

As a TFFH Foster Parent, you bring stability to uncertainty, healing to separation. Your open arms and love have profound impacts on a child’s life and dreams—and we know you’ll find fulfillment as well.
